Store hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.

One of the store owners also is planning to open a storage rental unit business in the spring, Boxed Inn Storage, Hollis said. That business will offer RV and boat storage as well as have smaller units for rent.

Garden Dominion Supply has expanded again.

Owner Michael Godinez said an almost 9,000 square-foot building was recently finished at the 18113 Maugans Ave. business in the Maugansville area. The new building will become a warehouse for the company that focuses on hydroponics and greenhouse supplies.

The new warehouse will free up space in the other building for more interactive displays to show customers how hydroponics works, including on a residential level, Godinez said.

The 9-year-old company moved from being a home-based business on Cearfoss Pike to its Maugans Avenue store in late 2017. A new building opened around 2020 and the second new building was recently completed, Godinez said.

Garden Dominion Supply has been building out its wholesale business in recent years, Godinez said. More recently, it's expanding its retail displays.

The business serves customers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Virginia and New Jersey.

The local store is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
