Helmholz gateways for integration into Ethernet networks

The NET-Link gateways from Helmholz can be easily plugged onto the CPU and thus enable the integration of older existing systems into Ethernet networks and Industry 4.0 environments - easily, securely and without interfering with the control program.

The current NET-Link PRO Compact gateway is particularly suitable for retrofitting existing systems. It is plugged directly onto the interface of the Profibus/MPI participant and therefore does not require any additional space in the control cabinet. The gateway gets its operating voltage from the active Profibus device. With passive participants in the network, the Ethernet gateway can be externally supplied with 24 V.With the proven Profibus Ethernet gateway from Helmholz, MPI, PPI and Profibus devices can be very easily connected to Ethernet networks via NET-Link;RFC 1006 is supported as an additional protocol. On the control side, the modules enable the full transmission speed of 12 Mbit/s via MPI or Profibus. In Industry 4.0 environments, the increasing merging of different automation components into integral overall systems requires a close connection between the Ethernet network and existing 'old' PLCs more than ever.
