Earlier Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates issued a statement in which it said that it is following up, in coordination with the Ministry of Transport, on the conditions of Jordanian truck drivers stuck in Sudan.

The ministry is taking all potential risks into account, regarding the movement of individuals, as well as the restrictions imposed on sea and land ports.

These restrictions limited the number of people allowed to leave Sudan, prioritizing those leaving through evacuation campaigns organized by countries.

The ministry reassured citizens that their evacuation efforts are ongoing, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport.
